David is a Producer at INSURE in Raleigh, North Carolina. Originally from Owensboro, Kentucky, David attended the University of Louisville and began his insurance career in 1988 in claims with a national carrier. David transferred to the regional office to work as a Quality Assurance Analyst before being promoted to the home office as a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst. In 1999, David moved to Raleigh, NC, and began his career as an Independent Agent with INSURE. Throughout his 35 years in the insurance industry, he has attained his Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), and Certified Risk Manager (CRM) designations.
David is an active member of the Independent Agents of NC, served on the NC Department of Insurance Property & Casualty Agent Advisory Committee, and served as the President of the Eastern NC CPCU chapter, where he has served as a Board member for 10 years. He also enjoys volunteering at the Eastern NC Food Bank, The Green Chair Project, and Habitat for Humanity.
In his spare time, he enjoys traveling with his wife, Keri, photography, and collecting Kentucky Derby memorabilia.
